Volunteering and full-time work
Not a problem at HERMLE AG
As a safety engineer, Dominik is responsible for occupational health and safety on a daily basis. “The challenge is to assess workplace risks as a team and to ultimately come up with the right solutions. And that’s what makes the job so interesting.”
Outside work, Dominik, like many of his colleagues, spends his spare time volunteering.
As head of the Rottweil mountain rescue service, Dominik is responsible for organising the activities of the local emergency response group. As a specialist rescue service provider, its duty is to rescue people in distress in remote or difficult to access terrain, e.g. forest workers, climbers or mountain bikers.
The benefits of volunteering for your full-time work are obvious.
Volunteering provides the chance to gain experience, expertise and qualities that can then be applied in the workplace.
HERMLE AG promotes the participation of its employees in voluntary activities. It reflects the values of the company and is an expression of our positive contribution to society. Whether you volunteer for the Red Cross, mountain rescue service or fire brigade, full-time work and volunteering can be balanced wonderfully at HERMLE AG. “Everyone benefits in the end”.
